Marketing Senior Manager - UKI Local Eminence

Location - London

Salary - up to £110,000 depending on experience

Overview of Local Eminence

The role of Local Eminence is to make Accenture loved and sought after at a local level by our clients and talent by creating differentiated experiences and building our local reputation.

LE works with business leads to align and integrate their priorities into M+C strategy and plans, and M+C experts across different disciplines to create awareness and drive consideration to preference. LE sits at the centre of the MU, being responsible, accountable, consulted or informed of anything that impacts the MU.

There are essentially two key pillars of the LE role, 1) localisation of the most relevant global campaigns and bringing them to life locally through 360-degree campaigns to support local business objectives, and 2) originating and creating locally specific moments and activities through which the content can be threaded.

What we do

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local partners (associations, institutions, influencers, etc.).
  • Partner with local business stakeholders to support priority business growth objectives.
  • Raise positioning and nurture client relationships via client forums, key third party and association events.
  • Consolidate our position as a Responsible Business, through amplification of our local corporate citizenship messaging and talent brand.
  • Build and Coordinate programmes and activities that are relevant to cross-industry/cross-service.
  • Identify and localise global content (TL, messaging and collateral) and create 360-degree activation campaigns with the most relevant content, and thread through our local moments.
  • Always work in partnership with other parts of M+C and specific experts.

Job Specifications:

Senior Manager, Local Eminence

  • Work with UKI MU MD to help define M+C local approach, working with UKI Leadership to review business priorities and requirements, and aligning with M+C global strategy and defined tactics
  • Specific team leadership responsibility for Local Eminence team in UK and Ireland, and responsibility for coordinating across all other M+C experts
  • Responsibility for overall UKI event and content calendar and work allocation across team
  • Leading regular “6-week forward view” meeting and ensuring all other relevant M+C experts are brought into the programme and aware of programme.
  • Overall editorial control and localisation of the most relevant global content, and supervision of subsequent build and execution of 360 degree campaigns with the most appropriate series of activities designed to maximise impact e.g. podcasts, local video, events etc.
  • Responsible for collaboration with local paid media / brand team to align paid media campaign and media partnerships and leverage as key part of campaign strategy
  • Overall responsibility of managing key external relationships and partnership to deliver campaigns e.g. Criticaleye, event organisations etc.

Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent
  • Hands-on marketing experience, ideally in professional services or other B2B organisation. Marketing communications experience highly desirable.
  • Broad marketing skill set, including campaign management, deliverable development and measurement and reporting. Demonstrable experience in using different channels, including social media, email and direct mail.
  • Brilliant project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with ability to present and convey ideas clearly and persuasively at all levels
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to operate and build relationships at senior levels within a large, matrixed organisation
  • Team player with great interpersonal skills
  • Creativity, flair and innovation in how to achieve cut-through and differentiation for campaigns
  • Enthusiasm, passion for marketing and can-do attitude

Technical skills

  • Strong basic writing skills are essential
  • Comfort with social media platforms
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Powerpoint and Excel
  • A basic understanding of the principles of design (some digital design skills would be a bonus)
  • Experience using corporate CRM systems would be useful, but not essential as long as you can show an ability to learn quickly.
