    JOB TITLE: Skills Product Owner

    LOCATION: Leeds or Halifax

    HOURS: Full time

    WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in one of our office sites

    SALARY: £73,262-£100,300

    We're looking for a Skills Product Owner to join our People Platform at Lloyds Banking Group; a team that combines the best of customer-centricity, product obsession and agile delivery across our People Technology landscape.

    A pivotal role within the Platform, our Skills Product Owner is accountable for delivering the best colleague and organisational impact through technology-led change in service of our ambition to become a skills-based organization.

    This role will focus on the capability arena, developing a deep understanding of our skills ambition and technology landscape, to form and deliver a prioritised backlog in partnership with their Feature Team and the capability centre of expertise. With the scale of our ambition in the skills space, the role will need to harness insights and innovation to support a truly differentiated colleague experience in this space.

    What you'll need

    • You'll be energised by and have experience of seeing through the design and delivery of impactful, customer-led technology innovation in the capability arena.
    • A passion for working with people - you will be working with colleagues from different areas across the business and several external partners, as well as engaging and leading a multi-discipline Feature Team.
    • Experience of working within an agile environment; you've defined and delivered key outcomes with a lens of customer and value obsession, prioritising within your team's capacity. You have previously applied agile methodologies to optimise innovation development and delivery.
    • Experience building a high performing team environment. You'll inspire focus and delivery, whilst encouraging and developing confidence and trust.
    • An ability to articulate business value through the work that you deliver.

    And any experience of these would be useful:

    • HR technology transformation utilising modern data and technology solutions e.g. Workday, ServiceNow and Microsoft.
    • Experience of using agile tooling e.g. JIRA & Confluence, and experience of leading & working as part of an agile team within HR technology / process landscape.
    • Design Thinking experience.
    • Multi-sector experience.
