Role purpose:
This role is for a Product Architect to support development of Vodafone's Fixed Connectivity Underlay Product range. The Vodafone underlay Product range provides high speed connectivity across a global footprint targeted at branch and data centre connectivity.
Key accountabilities and Decision Ownership:
- Ensure accurate end to end technical and service specification and delivery of new Product Features in line with budget, time and quality.
- Capture and manage all requirements and ensure they are translated into a logical incremental delivery plan (including MVP) and in line with Sage Agile Principles and Vodafone Governance model
- Ensure accurate OSS/BSS integration for new Product Features
- Review key product documentation from internal stakeholders and external suppliers, including backlog, HLD's, Low Level designs.
- Manage End to End, Design Oriented, Risk Assumptions Information Dependencies/Decisions (RAID) logbook during Product Delivery Lifecycle
Must Have Technical / Professional Qualifications:
- Relevant higher education in a related field (computer science / networking field)
- Knowledge and understanding of the Fixed Connectivity and particularly Metro Ethernet Forum products.
- OSS/BSS integration experience
- Service Design knowledge
- Safe Agile Awareness or even better Certified

G Band:
- Discretionary yearly bonus: 10%
- Annual leave: 28 days + bank holidays + the opportunity to buy/sell/carry over 5 days/year
- Charity days: 5 days/year
- Maternity/adoption leave: 52 weeks out of which the first 13 weeks are fully paid followed by 26 weeks of half pay and 6 months - working 4 days, getting paid 5
- Paternity leave: 16 weeks fully paid
