    The Business Analyst Manager role will be critical to the success of the Contract Evolution Programme.

    The objectives of the Contract Management Evolution Programme is to transform the he Contract Management organisation by 1) Establishing and delivering a world class Target Operating Model that differentiates us from our competitors, 2) underpins the required processes and technology to realise our future vision and, 3) identify the full programme benefits and opportunities to realise future year growth. This will be a multi-year programme and will help drive Customer & Colleague Experience uplift, maximise value generation, and reduce effort associated with manual processing and non-value activity.

    Within the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) framework, a Business Analyst Manager brings their analytical and communication skills to ensure that the organisation's contracts are effectively managed, compliant, and aligned with business objectives.

    Role Accountabilities

    The main accountabilities for a Business Analyst Manager in the context of Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM).

    • Requirement Elicitation and Analysis for CLM: Identify and document specific contract management requirements, considering inputs from legal, procurement, and business stakeholders.
    • Analyse and prioritize contract-related requirements to align with organisational goals and compliance standards.
    • Stakeholder Management in CLM: Engage with key stakeholders involved in the contract lifecycle, such as legal teams, procurement professionals, and business units.
    • Foster strong relationships to facilitate effective communication and collaboration throughout the contract management process.
    • Process Modeling and Improvement in CLM: Analyse existing contract management processes to identify areas for enhancement.
    • Develop process models and workflows to illustrate the current and desired states of contract management practices.
    • Recommend and implement improvements to streamline and optimize the contract lifecycle.
    • Data Analysis in CLM: Analyse contract data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for optimisation.
    • Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the contract management system.
    • Solution Assessment and Validation in CLM: Evaluate proposed CLM solutions to ensure they meet the specific requirements of the organization.
    • Collaborate with IT and legal teams to validate that implemented CLM solutions align with business needs and compliance standards.
    • Documentation and Reporting in CLM: Create and maintain documentation related to contract requirements, processes, and compliance standards.
    • Generate reports and presentations to communicate contract management findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
    • Facilitation of Communication in CLM: Facilitate communication and understanding between legal, procurement, and business teams involved in the contract lifecycle.
    • Bridge communication gaps to ensure a shared understanding of contract management goals and requirements.
    • Change Management in CLM: Assist in the development of change management plans related to the implementation of new CLM processes or systems.
    • Support stakeholders in adapting to changes in contract management practices.
    • Risk Analysis and Mitigation in CLM: Identify potential risks and issues in contract management processes.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address contract-related risks.
    • Quality Assurance in CLM:
    • Participate in testing activities to ensure that the CLM system or processes meet contract requirements and compliance standards.
    • Collaborate with testing teams to develop test cases and scenarios specific to contract management.

    Requirements

    Must have:

    • Experience in articulating/implementing a strategic vision and translating into practical action and execution.
    • Strong experience of delivering large scale transformational business change through technology and leading industry best practice methodology.
    • Experience of working across a wide range of internal and external technology suppliers to align plans and deliver business outcomes
    • Largescale leadership of indirect team/cross functional teams or programmes with proven deliverables.
    • Experience in integrating teams, methods, and cultures.
    • Experience in building and maintaining Senior Manager and Director level relationships.
    • Experience presenting to senior audiences including customers.

    • Strong stakeholder management: Influences and facilitates complex decision making across large numbers of stakeholders, with a strong track record of buy-in and turning dissenters to advocates
    • Effective communicator: Inspires confidence and creates commitment in others through logical, compelling arguments which are tailored to the audience
    • Market aware: Strong awareness about our key competitors, potential partners and potential disruption in the sector. Experience of navigating large, complex, organisational structures and taking ownership to address issues and challenge the status quo.
